Study for St John, the Evangelist, for the Knock Mosaic

A preliminary pencil study of St John, the Evangelist, by PJ Lynch for his design of the giant mosaic at the Marian Shrine in Knock, Co Mayo.
The mosaic, which is made up of 1.5 million pieces, was admired by President Biden during his recent visit to Ireland.
